- Description
- This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $33.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Place of Performance is near Bullhead City, AZ, in Mohave County. The principal components of work include installing Government-furnished equipment (GFE): 230 kV and 69-kV power circuit breakers, 230-kV and 69-kV disconnecting switches, 230-kV and 69-kV coupling capacitor voltage transformers, 230-kV current transformers, 69-kV station service power voltage transformer, vertical switchboard sections, station battery and battery chargers. Providing electrical equipment: 69-kV and 25-kV fuse disconnecting switches, 69-kV surge arrester, 25-kV pad mounted transformer, 27.6-kV voltage transformers, power resistor, manual transfer switch, safety switches, AC and DC panelboards. Providing grounding system, bus system, conduit system, insulated conductors and, cables, fiber optics, terminal boxes, outdoor lighting units and substation signs. Providing foundations and anchor bolts for substation structures, electrical equipment and material. Performing site work. Providing galvanized steel, lattice turning structures, cable trench, gravel surfacing, oil containment facilities. Constructing a site built service building complete with electrical and mechanical systems. Providing approach spans. Providing OPGW from Longtin Substation to Topock Substation. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge.
