Description
Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is soliciting for services that include the disposal and perpetual care of Class A, Class B and Class C Low-Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) in accordance with applicable law, regulations and licenses in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNS&IMF). The contract will include a base year period of performance and four one year option periods. This unrestricted, full and open requirement is to be solicited using non-commercial, negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. This requirement will be competed on a low-price technically acceptable with past performance basis. It is anticipated that a minimum of one award to a maximum of two awards of a multiple award, firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract under this solicitation to the responsible offerors whose proposals meet all other evaluation factors. Complete proposal submittal requirements, and statement of work to be included in the solicitation. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 28, 2013 with a closing date on or about April 30, 2013. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that website for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. Prospective offerors should also register at FEDBIZOPPS on the interested vendor list. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FLCPS. Offerors must also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
