CONTINUATION PAGE Consolidated all of the questions by Offerors regarding Solicitation Number: VA248-13-R-0973: 1.Can Government please provide name of incumbent contractor? Response : Information shall be solicited through the Freedom Information Act (FOIA). All requests shall be addressed to: Mrs. Rosayma Lopez, Privacy Officer at: 10 Calle Casia San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921-3201 Tel: 787-641-7582 extension: 11779 1.Solicitation document indicates services shall be provided to specific VA locations, but also indicates 'other VA facilities located in Puerto Rico'. Can the Government please provide location of these 'other' facilities? RESPONSE: At this moment, we cannot provide location of "other VA facilities" but future plans to open clinics located in the island of Puerto Rico will entailed to do a modification to an existing contract. 1.What is the transition time for new contractor? RESPONSE: No transition is necessary. 1.When is performance start date? RESPONSE: As per schedule of Services (B.3) which is April 1, 2013. 1.Page 55 of 77, Section (3) (i) indicates 'Offers shall be submitted in two (2) volumes within the established page limitations as detailed below'. However, the details specify four (4) volumes. Can the Government please clarify the number of volumes to submit? RESPONSE: Government erroneously wrote two (2) volumes in lieu of four (4) volumes as per details. Government will correct in an Amendment. 1.Page 56 of 77, Section (2)(a) indicates 'The Government will evaluate the offer for including one (1) work related references or company statement of experience and capability to perform the work within the past five(5) years in accordance with contract terms and conditions and letters of recommendation, if any.' Is the Government simply looking for a statement of capability from a current customer, i.e. VACHS? RESPONSE:Government will evaluate in accordance with establish rules and regulations based on the RFP. 7. Biomedical waste is collected in cardboard boxes or metal 40 yd containers RESPONSE: Refer to Section B.2 Scope of Work; items 9.4 and 9.5 under Service Required. 8. Can the Government provide the current cost of the ongoing contract? Response : Information shall be solicited through the Freedom Information Act (FOIA).
