- IIntent to Award J&A minus signatures The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, on behalf of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Engility Corporation to povide engineering expertise labor and parts to increase the ruggedization of the Engility Series 5.0 portable water purification system (P/N WPS-5.0) so that it will survive the drop test portion of the Production Qualification Test. This system was the only man portable system which passed the original Limited Objective Exercise. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting a white paper, technical data for this requirement, and past performance data within fifteen calendar days of this posting, by 2:00 PM EST, to Arlene Fitzpatrick at arlene.fitzpatrick@usmc.mil. Telephone calls will not be honored.
