- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Mission and Installation Contracting - Fort Buchanan Puerto Rico is in the process of determining the Hotels interested and capable for providing Lodging and Related Services throughout Puerto Rico. This announcement is intended for Hotels in Puerto Rico only. It is not intended for third party Hotel agents. This is a sources sought notice and request for information (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. Please note that the solicitation number used for this sources sought is different from the one that will be used in the pre-solicitation notice. Information provided to the Government as a result of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation, and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer, by potential offeror or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited. The purpose of posting this RFI is to locate Hotels in Puerto Rico capable of and interested in providing Lodging and Related services issued under various Blanket Purchase Agreements. The summary of the requirement is as follows: 1. The requirement consists of establishment of various Blanket Purchase Agreements to Hotels throughout Puerto Rico providing all required for Lodging, Meals, Conference Rooms, Related Conference Room Equipment, Childcare Services and Parking via issuance of Blanket Purchase Agreement Calls. 2. Estimated Period of Performance: Base Period from December 1, 2013 through November 30, 2014 plus Two additional (One Year Period) Option Periods to be exercised at the Government's Option. Fort Buchanan Contracting is interested in locating those Hotels interested in the requirement, Hotel Locations, Hotel Accommodations, Hotel Capacity and Capabilities. Both large business concerns and all categories of small business are encouraged to respond to this request. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) anticipated for this requirement is 721110- Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. The size standard for this NAICS code is $30.0 Million. The Hotels located in Puerto Rico interested in the requirement shall have an active Systems for Award Management (SAM (www.sam.gov)) Registration. The registration shall be kept active throughout the life of the Blanket Purchase Agreements. The SAM registrations shall incorporate the representations and certifications of the company identifying the NAICS of 721110. If you are a Hotel in Puerto Rico that currently has a Blanket Purchase Order Agreement with the MICC-Fort Buchanan office and/or can provide the required services/supplies specified herein and you would like to participate in a competitive solicitation for this procurement, please send your responses to this RFI via email directly to Maria Otero at: maria.d.otero4.civ@mail.mil.
