Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC), and the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) is seeking potential sources to provide a Depucking system. The Depucking system shall take prescriptions that have been filled and capped and depucks them sending the bottles to a tote. The puck then is reverted back to be filled with a new prescriptions. The Depucker will have the capacity at a minimum to depuck 150 vials a minute. The potential requirement will support the Dallas, TX VA Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facility. Offerors having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Evelyn.Halliburton-Shannon at evelyn.halliburton-shannon@va.gov no later than April 12, 2013. Please put in your subject line the Sources Sought Notice number and the title of Depucker. Responses must include company name, address, and size standard; point of contact, including phone number and e-mail address; suggested equipment information and delivery schedule; if company is a manufacturer or distributor; whether system is presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Service contract and whether the potential source is. NAICS code 333993 and Small Business Size Standard 500 employees are applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Evelyn Halliburton-Shannon via email. This announcement is not a request for proposals and no solicitation is available for distribution at this time. This sources sought notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in the response.
