Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to utilize other than full and open competition to award a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract for Common Network Interface (CNI) sustainment activities and legacy support to General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), 12450 Fair Lakes Circle, Fairfax, VA, 22033. The CPFF contract will have an estimated total quantity of 8,816 hours and will be for CNI sustainment. The intended sole-source effort includes legacy services in the areas of systems engineering and software patch-development. The contract will contain provisions for other direct costs such as travel, support to travel and miscellaneous material costs. The contract will be for a base-period of one year and contain one (1) one-year option. This requirement is anticipated to be the final contract for this program. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as GDAIS is the only company that can meet the Navy ™s Legacy CNI caretaker requirement for efforts already underway. A Request for Proposal is planned in the 3rd Quarter of FY13 with an award planned in the 3rd Quarter of FY13. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command.
