Description

The Bedford VA Medical Center located at 200 Springs Road, Bedford MA 01730 intends to release Solicitation VA-241-13-Q-0498 for a Solid Waste Removal and Recycling Services Contract. The full solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS www.fbo.gov on or about April 2, 2013. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The applicable NAICS code will be 562998 with an applicable small business size standard of $7.0million. Performance period is 365 calendar days after award, with four 1-year option periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming RFQ solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. All questions should be directed to the Contracting Officer, who will consolidate all questions and release a FAQ amendment (if necessary) once the solicitation is released. All interested parties should register via FEDBIZOPPS interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from FebBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR 2.101,VAAR 802.101, VetBiz Registration, prospective firms must be registered in the system for award management (www.sam.gov) and in the VetBiz (www.vetbiz.gov) databases (if applicable) prior to award.
