- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price modification to contract N00019-11-C-0028 with Kairos Autonomi, Inc, Sandy, UT to establish a base and option Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) to procure specialized and uniquely configured NAV Command and Control (C2) installation kits for Pronto 4 Navigation Command and Control Support Package for a total of up to 120 kits over the next 3 Fiscal Years (FY13, FY14 and FY15). The identified FSC and NAICS codes above are specific to the original contract. We are not acquiring vehicles. We are procuring unique components for the Mobile Land Target program that could fall under FSC 25- Vehicular Equipment Components and NAICS 336390 -Other Motor Vehicle. In addition, some of the individual component parts fall into the PSC 58, Communication, Detection and Coherent Radiation Equipment, NAICS Subsector classification of 334, Computer and Electronic Product Manufacturing. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
