- FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT:Jennifer Beddor, (443)395-1299 Jennifer.beddor@us.army.mil This is a market survey to locate potential sources to manufacture the AM-8189A Tactical VHF Power Amplifier (Improved Frequency Modulation - IFM). The AM-7189A Radio Frequency Amplifier amplifies FM signals in the 30-88 MHz Tactical FM band to provide an extra link margin for tactical operations on Army Aviation platforms. The contract requirements include manufacture of the AM-7189, NSN 5996-01-188-3332. This market survey does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Updated technical documentation for hardware is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these services must so indicate in writing to PM-AME Field Office, ATTN: SFAE-AV-AS-AME (Beddor), 6007 Combat Drive, F3-140-122, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. The responses must include documentation such as drawings, test results, and other technical information demonstrating that the supplier can provide the required hardware, software and services.
