- This is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a request for information for planning purposes only. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Glynco, Georgia, an Agency of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is conducting market research for the following requirement: Driver Training Support Services, Driver and Marine Division, FLETC, Glynco, Georgia. The purpose of this request is to gather information with regard to industry interest, capabilities, and qualifications of firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19 and have the requisite experience and skills to support the contract as a prime contractor. Services include, but are not limited to: fleet management, equipment issue and range maintenance, and various ancillary support services in support of training initiatives of the Driver and Marine Division. Services will be performed at FLETC, Glynco, GA. The anticipated contract will be a single award, firm-fixed price contract with a base period of 12-months (phase-in will be approximately 7 days before full performance is anticipated), and four (4) 12-month option periods. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561210 and the Small Business Standard is $35.5 million. All interested parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement to include three projects of a similar nature within the last five years that are relevant to the work that will be required under this project. Capabilities statements shall be limited to 3 pages (8 ½" X 11", single spaced) or less and provide information on the following: 1. Statement of interest in this requirement. 2. Synopsis of contractor capabilities, past performance, and experience information for contracts similar to the services listed. 3. Company size: Small; HubZone; 8(a); Small Disadvantaged; Woman-owned; Service Disabled Veteran (include all socio-economic areas for which your firm qualifies). 4. Contact information for each project cited to include name, e-mail, and phone number. Your capabilities statement shall be e-mailed to JoDeen Cuffe, Contract Specialist, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, at jodeen.cuffe@fletc.dhs.gov. Responses are due April 8, 2013, 4:00p.m. ET. No telephone calls will be accepted. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to the Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a) or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement.
