Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed-Fee contract to Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS), 350 Lowell Street, Andover, MA 01810-4400, to provide the Government of Egypt with follow-on support for the Electronics Pod and Target Generator of the AMOUN Launcher. This support will include engineering support, supply support and training for the AMOUN Launcher Electronics Pod and Target Generator. IDS is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the AMOUN Launcher Electronics Pod and Target Generator. Therefore, the Government has limited rights to the Technical Data Package, which would be required to competitively award this requirement. As such, IDS the only known source possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise to fulfill these requirements in the required timeframe and without duplication of costs. Anticipated date of award is 15 April 2013. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
