- THIS PROJECT IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABITY OF FUNDS ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED. IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and materials required to replace the existing double automatic sliding door with an Miami-Dade hurricane rated assembly with a panic bar style emergency egress latching, install header & framing members in a bed of sealant or joint filler or gaskets. AAADM certified technician shall inspect and adjust installation to assure compliance with ANSI A156.10 as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor must be in accordance with SOW. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: NONE Performance Period is 14-30 days. Work to be performed May- June 30, 2013. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: Prior to ordering or procuring materials, provide submittals a minimum of twenty-one (21) days before start of work, submit three (3) copies of required information to the Contracting Officer for approval Per Submittals Requirements Section of SOW. Include manufacturer's catalog data, certificates, and other evidence indicating compliance with the SOW. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations, federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to water, air, and noise pollution. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY April 8, 2013. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD April 23, 2013, APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE QUOTE IS DUE. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.) Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Base Kodiak, Alaska.
