Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to negotiate Sole Source commercial item services procurement for the Beckley VAMC located at 200 Veterans Ave, Beckley, West Virginia with Simplex Grinnell to provide Fire Alarm System for Simplex 4100S. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent service as described above. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621 with a size standard of $12.5Million. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered and identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than April 05, 2013, 12pm, EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
