Description

This is a Sources Sought notice for information only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. In preparation for future procurement, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned small business, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 561499 that can offer the services listed below. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to provide, install, and construct a pass-through window for the Sterilization and Processing Service(SPS) at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center n Houston, TX. Training must be provided to VA employees on the use of the new equipment. Contractor will also be required to make any necessary modification to the existing configuration and to remove any equipment that is to be replaced. Contractor will also be required to uninstall and remove all unrequited existing infrastructure to a location determined by MEDVAMC on medical center premises. Interested companies shall submit an electronic statement outlining their company's capability and capacity to provide these services to Houston, TX 77459. Also firms shall provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NACIS code that fall within. Companies shall also state whether the equipment and services are available through GSA. Please submit statements of capabilities electronically to corey.labbe2@va.gov no later than Thursday April 04, 2013 @ 1200 CST. Phone inquiries will not be accepted.
