- Brand Name J&A ****NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION CONTAINS DFARS 252.209-7999, A FULL TEXT/FILL-IN CLAUSE THAT IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED WITH YOUR QUOTATION**** ****NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS FOB DESTINATION AND MUST BE PRICED ACCORDINGLY**** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA2517-13-T-6012 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This number is for tracking purposes only. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-66. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offerors, commercial items. The Government will award a contract on the basis of the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer. This procurement is a Brand Name Only competition. The NAICS code, 334419, Other Electronic Component Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. A single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award will be made as a result of an evaluation of the quotes received. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder proposal conforming to the solicitation which is LPTA. The items are to be "Brand Name" manufactured by EVENTIDE. Substitute proposed brands will NOT be considered for award. Any Contractors that are authorized Eventide distributors are encouraged to provide a FFP quotation in response to this Fed-Biz-Ops solicitation. That means the Government may issue a contract to the offeror that submits the lowest aggregate price rather than issue a contract to each offeror on the basis of the lowest quotation on each item.
