- Backcountry Weed Spraying on the Bridger-Teton National Forest General Information Document Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Solicitation Type: RFQ Posted Date: April 2, 2013 Response Date: April 19, 2013 NAICS Code: 115310 Set-Aside Total Small Business Solicitation No.: AG-02NV-S-13-0016 Contracting Office Address Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, R-4 IDAWY Acquisition, 1405 Hollipark Drive, Idaho Falls, ID 83401 Description Quotes are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service from eligible small business firms for horseback spraying of approximately 39.25 miles highcountry noxious weed infestations in twelve (12) designated sites in order to prevent further infestation on the Bridger-Teton National Forest. This project is located on the Kemmerer Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. This project includes furnishing all labor, horses, personal protection equipment, supervision, transportation (horse trailer), supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) and incidentals necessary to perform all work necessary to accomplish weed spraying services in the areas specified. This requirement is being solicited as a fixed price Request for Quote (RFQ) with Option Years, using Commercial Item acquisition procedures under FAR part 12 in conjunction with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR part 13. Quotes are due at 3:00pm MST, April 19, 2013. Work is estimated to begin on June 15, 2013. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Vendors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management database (SAM) https://www.sam.gov. All responsible sources may submit a response to this announcement which will be considered by this agency.
