- Description
- The Department of the Treasury's (Treasury), Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) Office of Treasury Procurement Services (OTPS), on behalf of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program (TRIP) Office anticipates intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about May 29, 2013 for reinsurance claims audit services. The solicitation will not be available until the anticipated date of release. The Government anticipates the award of a Single-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 3-month transition period, 12-month base period and (4) 12-month option periods. The IDIQ is for reinsurance claims audit services intended to ensure adherence to the requirements of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002, as amended, to ensure compliance with the regulations issued pursuant to the Act, and to promote the operating efficiency and financial integrity of the TRIP. Additionally, the TRIP audit contractor will audit the procedures use by the Claims Management contractor to avoid conflicts of interest in processing.
