Description

The Contractor shall perform SPALT K i t D e velopment, I n stal l ation and Chec k o u t. Specifically, the Contractor shall write a SPA L T 30361 D ocu m ent for correction of issues discovered during the SSI Incre m ent I SPALT 30285 i in s t allati o ns. It shall contain i nstructions for installation a n d verification testing. The contractor w ill package and deploy a SPALT kit and p e rform SPALT 30361 on four ( 4) UK S S B Ns, and three (3) UK Land Based Facilities. Include in t h i s effort are the pre d eployment planning activities such as a POA&M, Memos of Agreement (MOA ), c o o rdinat i o n w ith site Navy/Contr a c t or personnel for installations, development Tagout plan n i ng and proces s i n g o f WAF documents. Negotiations will be conducted with General D ynam i cs Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufactur e r of t h e TRIDENT (II) D5 Str a t e gic Weapon System ( S W S ) Fire Control System and Attack W e apons Control Sys t em and the o n l y source with the i n - depth knowledge, expertis e, and in-plac e capab i l i t y to perform the required effort.
