Description

Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to award a sole source bridge contract under FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency, to Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. of Alexandria, VA to provide Technical, Program Management and Business and Financial support services for the: (1) US OHIO Replacement and joint US/UK Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Program, (2) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Program, (3) SSP Self Assessment and Other Program Assessment Support, and (4) SSP System Safety and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Support. The contract will include a six-month base effort with two three-month option periods, and provisions that would allow for level of effort increases up to 30%. The bridge contract is needed to prevent a break in service, while a full and open competition solicitation for a new contract is reviewed, approved, and awarded. No Solicitation package is available.
