- This Sources Sought is being issued for planning purposes only and it is not a pre-solicitation or solicitation notice. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS INCURRED BY INTERESTED PARTIES IN RESPONDING TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island is seeking contractors who are capable of providing full municipal services (potable water, wastewater, and sewer) in the northeastern Tooele County, Utah area, specifically for the Tooele Army Depot. AT A MINIMUM, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS REQUIRED: (a) A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract. (b) Business Size*, Duns, Cage Code, Tax ID, and Point of Contact. *The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 221310 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000. All of the above information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interest from venders. Failure to submit all information requested may result in a contractor not being considered as an interested vendor. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer and will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov without further notice. If the proposed contract will be competed it will be published electronically as a solicitation on the FBO website and will be the responsibility of the contractors to check regularly. Paper copies will not be available. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management in order to be eligible for award. Responses to this Sources Sought containing electronic attachments must be submitted in an Adobe,.pdf file extension, format to the point of contact below no later than COB APRIL 10, 2013.
