- W91YTZ-13-T-0362 Stereotactic Biopsy Mammography System Maintenance Notice of Intent to Award a Sole-Source Contract Period of Performance for twelve (12) months: This provides notification of the Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 intent to award a sole-source contract to Hologic Limited Partnership. The current contract W91YTZ-12-P-0683 ended 31 March 2013. The new period of performance is 12 April 2013 through 11 April 2014, and will be performed by the incumbent contractor, Hologic Limited Partnership., 250 Campus Dr, Marlborough, MA 01752-3020. This contract provides for services and repairs of mammography to existing equipment by Biomedical Equipment Repair Technicians who are trained to support this equipment which must pass FDA certifications within Womack Army Medical Center. The contract type is firm fixed price. This award of services period of performance for 12 months will be accomplished pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) quote mark Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements quote mark as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Not awarding this contract would cause serious injury to the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required during the 12 month period would be advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete this contract period is solely with the discretion of the Government.
