- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA; is issuing a firm-fixed price contract under FAR Part 12 and 13.5 to Nutronics, Inc. of Boulder, CO; on an other than full and open basis. This contract is to procure one (1) compact and rugged low power compensated adaptive optical beam control system to be integrated into the Research and Intelligence Divisions mobile laboratory with the current test equipment. Nutronics' Rugged Compensated Low Power Beacon Adaptive Optical System was chosen because their system is the only system known to be ruggedized, which is necessary to protect the electronic equipment, cameras, optics, and other delicate instruments from shock, vibrations, and weather conditions that the system will be exposed to in the mobile laboratory. The estimated release date of the solicitation is on or about April 19, 2013, with an estimated award date of June 13, 2013. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
