- Drawings to go with requirements. This is a **SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE** for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the requirements described below. Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Ashley Kidd at ashley.kidd@cannon.af.mil or Robyn Knight at robyn.knight@cannon.af.mil. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information: 1) Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, e-mail address, and DUNS. 2) Is your firm eligible for participation in one of the following small business programs? If so, please indicate the program. Provide any additional feedback that you feel is relevant (i.e., problems or any other issues experienced with similar contracts). 4) Provide a brief capability statement (Max 2 pages) with enough information to determine if your company can meet the requirement. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Quotations, Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the Government is requesting a short statement regarding the company's ability to construct a repelling wall. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business (SB) Community or to conduct as an Unrestricted Procurement. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate SB interest. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Training Tower Phase III Requirement 1: Stairwell constructed from base to top level--- 19'10" wide x 34‘ tall: • Landing half way up and at the top • 36" wide stairs with railings • Could be either 2 flights or 3 whichever is most practical/cost effective. Requirement 2: Safety railings across the top: • 40" tall railings encompassing all sides except in front of climbing wall and Mock Hull/FASTROPE stand- can be square or round tube welded to side Requirement 3: Platform constructed on top of containers: • 2"x4" rectangular tubing frame built across top platform laid with wise and welded to containers with cross members welded into frame as support then covered with 4'x8'x¼" diamond plate steel flooring welded to create floor surface • Floor frame will be welded and secured to corners of each container for strength • 5 x 2.5-5k lb. D-rings will be welded to flooring edge 12" from edge of floor on the climbing wall side evenly spaced 3' apart • FASTROPE flooring/frame will extend out 36"-48" from the container as indicated in diagram- bracings will run from edge of frame to corner posts of containers for strength- cover will be same as above Requirement 4: High angle rope anchor: • 6" x 16' x¼" round steel tube with triangular braces welded on both ends and center--feet of the mount should be 5' apart • Tube will be height of 6' from roof floor and welded w/gussets on all 6 attachment points to the base of the floor Requirement 5: Mock hull/FASTROPE Trainer: • Dimensions will be 15' long x 64" wide x 62" high • 4 -5 whalebone type ribs welded and constructed from 3" x 3" x ¼" steel square tube • Top post will be mounted to the center of the ribs and will be gusseted at each connection point and capped • Stand will run extend to the edge of the platform with the top post extended XX' out from the edge • 2 large ½' bolts will run through each side of the frame thru the extended floor and welded to the main floor the length of the trainer.
