- Market Research The following requests are designed to apprise the US Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, of any prospective construction contractors' project execution capabilities. Please provide your response to the following. The submission is limited to 5 single-sided pages total - using 10pt font. 1) Offeror's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2) Offeror's business size: • Small Business, • HUBZone, • Service Disabled Veteran Owned • 8(a) • Large Business 3) Interested parties must have the capability and equipment necessary for the following work: Provide CONSTRUCTION Services for the Seismic Retrofit to Bldgs 9, 10 and NEW Building 22, VA Medical Center, San Francisco, CA. The work consists of the following: This project is to seismically retrofit two buildings and to construct an additional two-story building. This project will be phased, with the total completion of new Building 22, and then retrofitting Building 9 and then Building 10. The contractor shall follow all construction drawings and specifications to complete all of the work for this project. Building 22: Construct a new two (2) story building of approximate 8,700 square feet and site improvements. This building will be connected via an access corridor to existing buildings, 9 and 10. Conduct hazardous material abatement as needed to complete the corridor connections. Buildings 9 & 10: Seismically retrofit the two (2) historical buildings; approximately 4,500 square feet for each building. Demolish materials as needed to install the seismic improvements per the construction drawings. The contractor shall be responsible for restoring all finishes disturbed by the work. Please respond to the statement below: • Please provide at least 2 to 3 example projects: o Offeror's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity and comparable work performed within the past 5 years brief description of the project, customer name, timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, dollar value of the project, and date of completion. The summation of examples provided must include the following experience: Seismic retrofit construction, Hospital construction, Historic building construction, Phased construction, and experience with Federal contracts 4) Offeror's Bonding Capability.
