Description

Overton Brooks VA Medical Center located at 510 East Stoner Ave., Shreveport LA, requires a replacement Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Machine. The system will consist of four (4) handheld portable machines with new state of the art PFT equipment and four (4) new portable machines that can be interfaced with the VA Computerized Patient Records System (CPRS) through a pre-approved VA HL7 interface. OBVAMC will be trading in the equipment that is currently in use. All proposals of the anticipated solicitation must indicate a trade in value (even if it is $0.00) for each item listed. Upon successful installation, the old existing equipment must be picked up by the selected vendor following proper VAMC medical equipment disposal procedures (i.e., removal of storage modules, followed by removal from AEMS/MERS inventory database, etc.) This acquisition is unrestricted under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334510. The size standard is 500 employees. This information is only for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Quote (RFQ). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The anticipated date for release of solicitation is April 23, 2013. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizOpps website at: www.fedbizopps.gov frequently to obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation.
