Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order inclusive of options under NAVAIR BOA N00019-11-G-0018 to Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA for the implementation of the Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) Software and Documentation Merge, also referred to as the JPALS Super Set Merge, for the ARC-210 RT-1939A(C)/RT-1990A(C) radios. This acquisition was pursued on a sole source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Rockwell Collins Inc. is the sole developer of the ARC-210 family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintains the proprietary rights to this radio; it is the only course capable of providing the required efforts. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Rockwell Collins Government Systems at the following address: Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498.
