- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a Sole Source basis with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO for the procurement of approximately sixty (60) Part Numbers (P/Ns) of Peculiar Support Equipment and spares for emerging squadron stand-ups in support of the AEA-18G and F/A-18E/F aircrafts for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). In addition, this requirement also includes the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) package required to perform Organizational Level (O-Level) and Intermediate Level (I-Level) maintenance. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
