- DRAFT SOW**Note** DRAT SOW Subject to change Capability Statement Instructions and Evaluation Criteria for Moving Image Collection Disposal The Capability Statement should describe the vendor's experience in the area of secure and environmentally responsible disposal of film, magnetic media and digital media, including decaying media (please note that there will be NO DISPOSAL OF NITRATE FILM in this contract) as listed in the DRAF SOW. An appendix should include references from other organizations that have contracted with the vendor for similar services. Vendors should include a detailed description of their method for bonded destruction, including what documentation of secure destruction will be provided. The process used for environmental disposal should also be described in detail for each material listed on the statement of work, including which can be recycled or refurbished. Please include any state or local environmental agencies the vendor has consulted in creating the disposal method (the documented regulations should be included as an appendix). A description of the end product of recycling and refurbishment should be included. If any subcontracting will be involved in the work, please provide an appendix for each subcontractor, describing fully their experience in bonded destruction and environmental disposal of moving image media collections. These appendices should also include as their techniques for carrying out their portion of the contracted work, written in a similar manner to the vendor's capability statement. 1. The vendor should also describe their plans for collecting the material at the Packard Campus in Culpeper, VA, including information regarding personnel who will be involved and their relevant experience. 2. Please explain how far the personnel will be traveling to pick materials up from the Packard Campus and how pickups should be scheduled. 3. The vendor must have an off-site facility where sorting of materials can occur. Sorting cannot be conducted by vendor at the Packard Campus. 4. Please provide location of facility and how it will factor into the overall destruction and disposal of materials.
