- This is a pre-solicitation Notice of Intent to solicit proposals. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed price Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Requirements task order contract for post-wide roofing maintenance and repair work. This requirement is to provide all services, materials, equipment, supplies, and all labor necessary for performing routine scheduled, unscheduled and emergency construction work specifically: maintenance, repair, reconstruction, demolition, replacement, and/or installation of a wide variety of roofing systems in the Aberdeen and Edgewood Areas of APG and various other satellite facilities. The magnitude of this contract is estimated to be between $25,000,000-$100,000,000. The contract will be issued for a base year plus four (4) option years. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and all supporting documents will be issued on or about 23 April 2013 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm to Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect - Engineer Contracts. The RFP number is W91ZLK-12-R-0007; hard copies of the RFP will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the Government-Wide Point of Entry (GPE) for the RFP release and all subsequent amendments. This RFP will be issued as a 100% 8(a) Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 238160. All responsible sources are invited to submit a proposal. The offeror must be registered in System for Award management (SAM), www.sam.gov prior to award. The proposal due date is anticipated to be thirty (30) days from the date the RFP is issued.
