- There is an extension time for the response date of bids to all interested vendors. The new date is April 22 2013. Submit all questions via e-mail to luis.f.aguinaga-rosero.mil@mail.com The following modification includes a corrected PWS named CORRECT_PWS which specifies the Contractor shall provide all subsistence. Please disregard any other PWS's. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR part 12 and 15, Acquisition of Commercial Items and the SOW attached to this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The New Jersey Army National Guard (NJARNG) has a requirement for contractor served, cafeteria style meals. The Contractor shall provide the meals as specified in the 14 Day Menu or Government approved Menu. Contractor shall provide all subsistence, supplies, and labor for the commercial meals. The Contractor shall utilize a Government facility and miscellaneous food preparation equipment that is available, any other equipment deemed necessary shall be provided by the Contractor. Government facility to be utilized is Bldg 1686, 1667, and 2425 at the Ft Pickett, VA (which is in close proximity to Blackstone Virginia). The proposal schedule will require proposals for each of the following categories: Breakfast Meal, and Dinner Meal. The lunch meal will be provided to the Soldiers by the Government. The meals will be required during the approximate time frame of 20 JUL 2013 thru 25 AUG 2013. The Government will evaluate each prospective offer utilizing proposed costs for all meals based on the tentative numbers provided. The contractor must be found acceptable based on the factors listed in Clause 52.212-2 in the Solicitation. The awardee shall meet all requirements of a food preparation/serving business within the State of Virginia. No award shall be made unless the Contracting Officer makes confirmation of affirmative determination of responsibility for the potential contractor. Potential contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract. This acquisition shall be 100% small business set aside. Applicable NAICS 722310 (formerly SIC 5812) for Food Service Contractors, the small business size standard is $35.5M. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to participate in the site visit, scheduled for 3APR13 at 10.00AM at Bldg # 1686. RFP solicitation response date is 12APR13.
