Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to issue a sole source award to The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), 8415 Datapoint Dr Ste 400 San Antonio, TX 78229-3298. The HACU National Internship Program (NIP) is the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) approved program for the recruitment of Hispanic college students into the Federal Government. HACU represents over 400 Hispanic serving institutions - colleges and universities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico and has signed an agreement with OPM to address the under-representation of Hispanics in the Federal service. The HACU HNIP shall provide the following services; Recruitment, Employment Administration, Housing, Travel, Orientation, Extra-Curricular Activities, Student and Supervisor Support Services, Evaluation and Training. The contract action is being sought under the FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Period of Performance is a Base Period of May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014 and Three (3) One (1) Year Option Periods. This is not a request for proposals but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued. Interested parties may, however, request further information (no later than no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, on April 10, 2013) by email to the Contracting Officer, Mark Miller at miller.mark@pbgc.gov.
