- LOCATION: Upper Mississippi River, National Wildlife & Fish Refuge, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, 7071 Riverview Road, Thomson, Illinois. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary for the removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM) contained in the debris of the approximate 11,123 square foot burned out I-Gate Cafeteria Building. The building is located in a restricted area closed to public access. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is issued as a set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 562910, Remediation Services with a size standard of $14.0 million. The solicitation package will be available via electronic commerce at http://www.fedconnect.net and http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 24, 2013, with quotes due on or about May 24, 2013. No telephone requests for the solicitation can be accepted. This solicitation will NOT be available in hard copy. The electronic package will consist of separate files for the standard form used for the submission or your quote, the specifications, drawing, and the prevailing wage determination. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded solicitation package before submitting your Quote. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Quote. Contractors must be registered as "Active" in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications to be eligible for this award.
