Description
Description: This notice is a Sources Sought announcement being conducted in support of market research. PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. THIS IS SIMPLY A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey, Soldier Weapons (ACC-NJ-SW), on behalf of Fort Devens Range Control, is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources to move and reposition fifteen (15) Relocatable Habitat Units (RHUs) and associated equipment at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. The relocation of these fifteen (15) RHUs will include the inventory, disassembly, movement, restaging, and reassembly in addition to the relocation service. The RHU's, currently located in the vicinity of Building 3412 Lovell Street, Fort Devens, MA shall be moved to the new planned location at the Fort Devens Range Complex on ATTU Road (old Litter Obstacle Course); a distance of less than seven (7) miles. Background Information: The RHUs are modular, scalable, transportable, and can be connected and assembled in a variety of configurations. The RHU panel is constructed with pultruded fiberglass reinforced plastic beams, bonded with expanded polystyrene foam panels (2 lb per cubic foot density) that are laser cut to replicate the look and texture of various building materials like brick, cinder block, adobe, mud, wood, bamboo, straw, thatch, etc., sprayed with one-eighth inch of a fire retardant hardcoat, then covered with a liquid stucco product, and then quote mark sceniced quote mark ( quote mark aged quote mark to look weathered). Along with the RHUs, there are lightweight props in each RHU and four (4) storage boxes (Small Wooden Crates) that will also need to be transported and restaged at the new location. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interest and capability to satisfy the above requirements by completing the questions outlined below. The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain information from industry to assist in the market research. 1. Company Name 2. Company Address 3. Company point of contact and phone number 4. Identify existing equipment and workforce (identify what equipment and workforce would be supporting this effort). 9. Identify lead-time necessary to fully accomplish services as described above. 10. Indicate participation on Federal Supply Schedule GSA Advantage (GSA contract number, Multiple Award Schedule, Special Item Number) 11. Please provide any additional comments. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This is a sources sought notice only and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market survey. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. Interested sources should submit their qualification data to include their capabilities within seven (7) calendar days of this notice.
