Solicitation M62613-13-T-0016 The purpose of this notice is to inform all parties that the United States Marine Corps Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni (MCASI), Japan, intends to purchase below listed requirements. This procurement constitutes one (1) Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) outlined as follows. Further specifications are described in the solicitation. ITEM NOSUPPLIES/SERVICESQUANTITYUNITU/Price Amount 0001 1 Each TECHNICAL SEARCH SPECIALIST COURSE FFP Provide Technical Search Specialist Course in accordance with statement of work. Course Enabling Objectives At the completion of this course the student will: Describe the National Urban Search and Rescue Response System within FEMA, including the FEMA USR Program Office and the USR Advisory Organization Describe the roles and responsibilities of the Technical Search Specialist Apply the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards that specifically apply to USR Operations Identify safety issues and categorize common hazards encountered during USR activities Identify different types of damaged structures and the hazards most common to damaged structures Mitigate identified risks to an acceptable level Demonstrate the Technical Search Specialist's role and responsibilities for functional interaction during deployment and exercises Identify training course objectives,ground rules, and administrative requirements Acknowledge USR program updates and work group assignments 40 hour course Point of Contact for all matters pertaining to this special notice is: Naoko Nitta, Contract Specialist, e-mail: naoko.nitta.ja@usmc.mil, or Hitomi Yamaguchi, e-mail: hitomi.yamaguchi.ja@usmc.mil This is an electronic solicitation in PDF format.
