- Drawings AFI 21-136 Wage Determination Selection PZIO Memorandum Letter Base Access Affidavit FA2823-13-R-6003 Sun Shade Lighting Project STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) FOR F-15 and F-16 Sun Shelter Lighting Installation AT EGLIN AFB, FL 18 March 2013 1. Project Scope: Supply all necessary components and labor to install and make fully functional 50 GFCI duplex receptacles and outlet boxes (20 Amp and non-feed through type) and 25 twenty amp light switches (20 Amp rated) and outlet boxes to provide operational lighting and 115VAC power. The receptacles referenced above, two receptacles and outlet boxes shall be provided for a total of 25 sunshades. Regarding the light switches referenced above, one light switch and outlet box shall be provided for each sunshade, there are a total of 25 sunshades. The sunshades reference above are located on the 96 Aircraft Maintenance Squadron parking apron. All receptacles, light switches, and outlet boxes noted above shall be rated for outdoor use. Existing GFCI receptacles and light switches that are fully functional are not required to replace. 2. Lighting Requirements: 2.1. The existing Lighting consists of four to six 400 watt metal halide flood fixtures per sunshade, based on original design. The contractor shall provide and install up to 25 industrial grade 20 amp outdoor rated light switches. A master electrician shall install all necessary wiring and conduit from panel boards to lights. Contractor shall provide new wiring and conduit as required to install up to 25 new light switches. 2.2. Master electrician shall install 50 GFCI duplex receptacles and outlet boxes (20 amp non-feed through type receptacles) rated for outdoor usage with two (2) at each sunshade, one on each side of the sunshade to be identified during the site visit. 2.3. Install 25 light switches rated at 20 amperage and outlet boxes rated for outdoor use. 2.4. Electrical work shall be performed by a master electrician. 2.5. Total price for all required materials and labor shall include shipping FOB Destination to Eglin AFB, FL as well as all fees and expenses associated with the requirements stated and implied by this statement-of-work. 3. This work must be accomplished in a phased approach (segmented) so that mission requirements are not compromised. Gov't shall be given at least 48 hours notice to relocate aircraft prior to contractor beginning work in each area approved for work by gov't. All work must be coordinated with the customer before performing. 4. NOTE: Contractors must provide adequate documentation and explanation of their recommended installation plan or strategy, as well as pricing and specifications of equipment intended to be installed in their quote. Must meet airfield requirements set force with Air Force Instruction 21-136 (Aircraft Sun Shade Management). Must meet all flight line safety, FOD (Foreign Object Damage) prevention while working on the flight line. 5. Provide dedicated 20 amperage breakers for each two (2) GFCI duplex receptacles at each sunshade. 6. All wiring shall be copper with THWN insulation. 7. Conduit system used shall be rigid steel conduit. 8. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to maintain power to all adjacent buildings during this contract. 9. Contractors shall visit the areas of work, verify all conditions and dimensions, and furnish a total and complete product. 10. Remove or alter existing work in such a manner as to prevent injury or damage to any portions of the existing work not being removed and/or altered. 11. All junction boxes and electrical enclosures shall be made of galvanized steel. 12. All materials used on this project shall be new and UL listed and labeled. 13. All work shall comply with the NEC and all applicable UFC standards. 14. Provide a complete quote for the above statement of work. 15. The requirement shall take no more than 60 calendar days working Monday thru Friday from 0700 to 1600 hours.
