- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in Alabama anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for side arm boom mowing. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to mow designated Forest roads. All work to be accomplished is located within the boundaries of the National Forests in Alabama, comprised of the Shoal Creek, Oakmulgee, Talladega, Bankhead, the Conecuh and the Tuskegee Ranger Districts. The resulting indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will be a base period and four option years. The size standard for this solicitation is $7 million under NAICS code 115310. The solicitation will be set-aside for small business concerns. Solicitation should be available on this web site on or about April 15, 2013. If a site visit is held, information will be included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings. All interested parties must be registered with System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).
