- Description
- The US Agency for International Development (USAID) Mozambique intends to negotiate and award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) completion type contract for the Coastal City Adaptation Project (CCAP) in order to increase climate resilience in selected Mozambican coastal cities. Synopsis: Coastal City Adaptation Project will assist vulnerable coastal cities to incorporate climate change projections into their planning processes and to undertake adaptive measures. Direct beneficiaries will include municipal and government authorities, local communities, civic organizations, and academic institutions. CCAP has three integrated objectives; (1) Improve the provision of climate-resilient urban services by municipalities; (2) Increase adoption of climate resilience measures by communities, civic, and community organizations, including civil society, nongovernmental, and faith-based organizations; (3) Increase local awareness of economic risk-management tools, such as insurance plans and contingency funds, for at-risk urban infrastructure and livelihoods. Period of Performance: From the effective date of award for a period of 5 years. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet. This Request for Proposal (RFP) and any future amendments thereto can be downloaded from http://www.fbo.gov. When the RFP is issued, offerors will have 30 calendars days to submit a proposal. It is the responsibility of the offerors to ensure that documents in their entirety have been received. USAID bears no responsibility for data error resulting from transmission or conversion processes. Order of Magnitude Threshold: This estimate is not expected to exceed $15 million for the life of the project.
