- POLE CREEK CULVERT PROJECT -- SAWTOOTH SNRA IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAY'S, THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO VIEW AND PRINT. The intent of the contract is to provide for the complete construction of the project described in the contract. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies and perform all work required to complete the project in accordance with drawings, specifications, and provisions of the contract. This Request for Proposal consists of furnishing all of the material and labor to construct a bypass and divert the creek, remove an existing 5'-5" x 7'-9" arch culvert, supply and construct new treated timber abutments and wingwalls, the installation of structural backfill, a treated timber superstructure, timber curbs, installing a bituminous wear surface on bridge and approaches, and installing 4 Type 3 object markers on glued-laminated guard posts. Incidental work may include but is not limited to reconstruction of approximately 40' of streambed, installing rip rap, minor roadway work to create a smooth transition from bridge to roadway, erosion control and traffic control for the project. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION This project is located on FS Road 70194; Blaine County; Township 7 North, Range 15 East, Section 30; approximately 25 miles south of Stanley and 36 miles north of Ketchum. The project may be reached by following State Highway 75 south out of Stanley for approximately 25 miles, or traveling north on Highway 75 out of Ketchum approximately 36 miles, turn east onto Forest Road 70194, and proceed approximately 2.0 miles to the crossing of Pole Creek.
