Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Snake Field Office, has a requirement for the installation and replacement of a wellhouse pump and motor at Minidoka Dam, Walcott Park Wellhouse in Rupert Idaho. Work is estimated to begin April 22, 2013 and shall be completed May 24, 2013. The service will include, but not be limited to the removal of the existing pump, motor, piping, and existing manual anti freeze/drain valves, install the new pump, motor, piping, and valves to meet or exceed current specifications and equipment, supply and fill potable water to supply tank if system is not operational within 24 hours. See RFQ R13PS14009 VIA FEDBID. Water samples shall be taken and sent off to lab for testing. The lab reporting the results will submit them to the Bureau of Reclamation, Minidoka Dam, 951 E Minidoka Dam Rd, Rupert Idaho 83350, within a minimum of 24 hours after sample is taken. Install new flow meter, and hour meter, flush out new pump and disinfect well before hooking up to water system. Sample and test water for safe drinking/potable quality before and after pumping into tank, use a non-toxic pipe thread sealing compound and non-toxic lubricants and repair any damage to building or concrete. Parts shall be painted and all paint shall be approved before installing. All paint shall fall under the bio preferred government website. Vendor will perform electrical current and voltage testing. Contractor shall measure actual depth of well and total length of pump and provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and on all products used and submit certifications on all equipment proposed with quote. Contractor will follow all Bureau of Reclamation Safety and Health, Fist 1-1 Hazardous Energy Procedures, OSHA laws, EPA and DEQ laws. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is: 237110. The small business sieze standard applicable to this project is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. This procurement s being advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The award will incude the service contract. These services will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. Offers will be accepted from all responsive and responsible Small Business concerns.
