Description
Interface Test Adapter This synopsis is to announce that the Warner Robins Life Cycle Management Center (LCMC), Robins AFB, GA, intends to procure Interface Test Adapters (ITA), NSN 4920-01-518-7406CY, P/N 16U65E01-3. The ITA is used with the ITA Interface I-AIS Test Station for the F-16 C/D and consists of the interface adapter, two attenuators, two terminations, buffer box assembly, bag assembly, and two cable assemblies. The length of the ITA is 18.18 inches, the width is 8.94 inches, the height is 5.125 inches and the weight is 19.5 pounds. The ITA contains an identification circuit to prevent implementing an incorrect Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) test program. The ITA routes stimulus and test signals between the test station and the LRU and functions as an integral part of the LRU testing. The identification of friend or foe receiver transmitter ITA is used in conjunction with the Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (IAIS) test station. It is unique to military applications. The performance requirements for the ITA are contained in the technical data package which is owned by the government. Drawings will be made available online when the RFQ is posted. The proposed contract action is a 100% small business set-aside and will be Firm Fixed Price. The unit of issue is each. The proposed contract action is for a basic year requiring a quantity of one (1) each with two one year options with a quantity of one (1) each. All assets will be shipped FOB Origin. Delivery for the basic year will be made no later than 210 days ARO to the following address: Bldg 3735 CP 661 277 3249 120 N Rosamond Blvd. Edwards AFB, CA 93524-8600 The delivery for each option exercised will made no later than 210 days ARO. The place of delivery for each option year will be determined at time option(s) is exercised. An official solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 12 April 2013. Electronic procedures will be used for the solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov only. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. In accordance with the policy at FAR 19.201, this procurement will be a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is 21 Jun 2013.
