- Project: KYJM 13-9008 Replace Roofing and Masonry, Bldg. 133. The work covered under this project shall be performed on Homestead ARB, FL, and shall consist of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and all miscellaneous requirements needed to perform all operations in connection with the work associated in performing of the installation of a new, complete and usable roof system. The acquisition shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price type contract to the bidder. This requirement is a 100% total HUBZone set-aside for offerors operating under NAICS code 238160 (Roofing Contractors), with size standard of $14.0 million. HUBZone status will be verified via the Small Business Administration. Proposals received from concerns that do not qualify as a HUBZone shall be considered nonresponsive and shall be rejected. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be 14 Dec 2012 at 1200 and is contained in the solicitation package. The magnitude of construction threshold is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Period of Performance for this requirement is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A site visit will be held on/around 21 May 2013 at 9:00 am. Site visit location will be at Homestead Air Reserve Base in Building 133 in Room 6. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. The solicitation notice and any/all amendments will be posted on this website http://www.fbo.gov and all prospective offerors are responsible to visit this site frequently to obtain this or any other information pertinent to this acquisition.
