Description

VA69D-12-I-1066; Source Sought Notice for Air Duct Cleaning Services Jason Rathsack, Contract Specialist, NCO 12 GLAC 4/10/2013 The Edward Hines VA Medical Center, 5000 S 5th Ave., Hines, Illinois is seeking potential sources capable of providing all necessary labor, supervision, materials and equipment to conduct Air Change (ACH) Test and clean the central fan systems, associated duct work systems and other mechanical systems and equipment located at the 20+ buildings at VA Hospital, Hines, IL and the Joliet Community Based Outreach Clinic in Joliet IL. Contractor shall have the capabilities to conduct all cleaning and testing services in accordance with the requirements and all applicable regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 (NEC), VA Safety Standards, and health care standards. Contractor shall have qualified staff and relevant past performance/experience. The applicable NAICS Code is 561790 with a size standard of $7.0 Million. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following 1.Name and address of company 2.Business size using the SBA size standard and applicable NAICS code(large or small) 3.Identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned or Veteran Owned Business 4.Firm's experience in providing services similar to or the same as identified above including years of service and similar customers 5.Any other pertinent information, which demonstrates ability to meet the above requirement All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 PM local time on Friday, April 19, 2013, to the attention of: Jason Rathsack, VA GLAC, 115 South 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1476.
