- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. This is NOT a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of commercially available products/services that may be of interest to Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East. FRC East is performing market research to determine available sources that can provide: A Spray-on Reusable Vacuum Bag (RVB) for composite manufacturing, curing and repairs. The FRC is interested in replacing its current process which uses consumable materials to save time and cost as well as environmental saving through reduced consumable waste. The RVB should be able to withstand 100 psi and 350F, not contain uncured silicone and be formable to honeycomb beveled to a 30 degree angle. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact, and additional information that will help the government to understand the capability of your company to provide the required equipment. The applicable NAICS code is 333249 with a small business size standard of 500. Please provide the following additional information: (1) Is your business a large or small business under this NAICS code? (2) If small, indicate: if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, if your firm is a certified HUBZone firm, if your firm is women-owned, and/or if your firm is Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned. (4) Who is the manufacturer of the products you would offer in response to this sources sought? (5) Have you sold these products/services to any government agencies?
