- The Census Bureau, National Processing Center, Jeffersonville, IN, intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a firm, fixed-price contract for building renovation. The procurement action is a Total Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. The small business size standard is $33.5M. The magnitude of this requirement is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Work is located in Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana. Jeffersonville is classified as part of the "Louisville, Kentucky Metropolitan Area." Solicitation Number YB1323-13-RP-0006 will be posted on or about 22 April 2013. The date for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 May 2013. The solicitation must be downloaded from this website - no paper copy of the solicitation will be distributed. Prospective offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database [http://www.sam.gov] to be eligible for award. Principal components of the work include, but are not limited to: demolition of several walls; demolition of toilet fixtures and partitions; removal of VCT and carpet tiles; installation of new walls and doors; installation of new toilet fixtures; installation of handicap accessible shower rooms; installation of new VCT and rubber floor tile; rearranging existing and installation of additional light fixtures; relocation of light switches; and, rearranging of existing and installation of new HVAC supply and return air. This notice is not an RFP and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Census Bureau in any manner.
