Description

This is the J&A for the sole source buy. This is a notice of intent to issue a contract to The F.O.D. Control Corporation, 18208 Preston Rd Suite D9-229, Dallas, TX 75252 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is to purchase a Fodbuster Rocksweeper "Double Play" and a Power Bar Magnetic Sweeper Attachment. The location is Dyess AFB. This notice is not a request for quote and this will be the only notice issued. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct s competitive procurement.
