- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE under solicitation number W91ZLK-13-T-0096. This procurement action is being conducted under FAR part 13 and 6.302-1 with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), LECO CORPORATION, as only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirement; therefore proposals cannot be submitted directly on this notice. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219 with a large business size standard of $19,000,000.00 dollars. The resultant purchase order will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56. Please note this is a 52.232-18 (Availability of funds). The requirement is to procure the following item: Contractor shall provide one preventive maintenance visit and repair services on the following Government owned equipment: -Pegasus 4D TOF (S/N 3111, Part No. PEG-4D-1YR) This full service agreement for the Pegasus will provide full coverage of parts, labor and travel for all repairs within the restrictions stated in the warranty for the specified amount of time. The agreement will cover the entire Mass Spectrometer including the vacuum pumps. Defective Pumps will be replaced with Rebuild Pumps from the pump manufacturer. Excluded are parts that are considered consumables by industry standard such as the detectors, pump oil and filters, sample capillary, detector gasket, O-rings and other consumable parts. Period of Performance: One year Base, plus two option years CLIN: 0010 SERVICE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR FYI 13. CLIN: 0020 SERVICE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR FYI 14. CLIN: 0030 SERVICE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR FYI 15. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all information received by 19 April 2013 will be considered by the Government. All interested vendors must respond by 19 April 2013, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Responses shall be submitted to the point of contact Maurice Brown via e-mail, maurice.d.brown4.civ@mail.mil. The e-mail subject line shall state: W91ZLK-13-T-0096 Notice of Intent to Sole Source. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
