- ATTENTION: Registration for this event has CLOSED. All slots have been filled. Thank You. NOTE: Businesses that do not register PRIOR to the event will not be allowed to participate - NO WALK-INs! The Internal Revenue Service, Office of Procurement is hosting a Small Business Open House. Small Businesses eligible for participation are those classified as follows: - 8(a) - HUBZone - SDVOSB - WOSB/EDWOSB - Small businesses holding a GSA Federal Supply Schedule or other Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) The purpose of the event is to bring together small business firms to display their marketing capabilities at vendor booths and speak with Procurement Officials on how they can help with upcoming acquisitions. The small business must be categorized as stated above to participate. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. WHERE : IRS, 6009 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745, Room 110 DATE : Thursday, May 2, 2013 TIME : 9:30am - 1:30pm REGISTRATION INFORMATION : All vendors must register in order to participate. Vendors who do not register in advance cannot participate. Registration opens at 12:00noon, Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, APRIL 2, 2013 and closes at 5:00pm, Eastern Standard Time, Friday, April 19, 2013, 11:59 pm. The FBO notice will be updated when the registration spaces are full. Registrations must be sent to AWSS.SBRO@IRS.GOV. The email must include SMALL BUSINESS OPEN HOUSE-MAY 2nd in the subject line, with the name and address of the company, the company's DUNS number, and the full name of the person(s) planning on attending the event in the body of the email. Registration requests that do not contain the aforementioned information will not be considered. Registration requests will not be taken by telephone. You are not confirmed for this event until you receive a confirmation email from the IRS Small Business Program Office. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, THERE ARE ONLY 17 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT. ONLY 2 PERSONS PER COMPANY WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER. Firms are expected to participate at the event for the full duration, 9:30am to 1:30pm. Participants needing to leave early should have representation from their company in place before leaving the event. Please ensure that your firm is registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.GOV) website and ensure that your Dynamic Small Business Search profile is updated and complete.
