- Description
- Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV), China Lake, CA intends to increase the ordering ceiling for Combat Environment Simulation (CES) Multiple Award Contracts (MACs) N68936-10-D-0034 with TYBRIN Corporation, Fort Walton Beach, FL, N68936-10-D-0035 with Lockheed Martin Services, Orlando, FL and N68936-10-D-0036 with Engility Corporation, Chantilly, VA. The contracts are Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) types. The MACs ordering period expires May 26, 2015. Tasks are competed, awarded and funded at the task order level. The scope of the CES MACs includes, but is not limited to, the development and acquisition of new range systems, integration of various range systems, and upgrade and modernize existing range systems relating to CES and used by the Fleet and Joint Services customers. This includes fixed and moving ground, sea and air targets and emitters, integrated hardware/software systems, and environments, and hostile equipment modeled entirely in software. Each program supports multiple customers that can include Navy, other services and agencies. The increase to the ordering ceiling is necessary to avoid work stoppage and program impacts to active orders issued under the MACs. All responsible sources that submit a capability statement or proposal, shall be considered by the Agency. Contractors who believe that they can step in and take over a program must submit a written response demonstrating technical, cost and management capability without causing hardships to program schedule and costs. The anticipated award of modifications to the MACs is May 31, 2013. A company seeking subcontracting opportunities contact the Prime Contractors. Responses to this synopsis should be sent to William Monckton, Contract Specialist, william.monckton@navy.mil or by FAX at 760-9398329, or by mail at Commander Code 254200D (W Monckton), NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV, 429 E. Bowen Road “ Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108. NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV issued sources sought N6893613R0037 and N6893613R0038 for Aircrew Warfare Tactical Training Range (AEWTTR), N6893613R0039 and N6893613R0040 for Combat Environment Instrumentation Systems (CEIS), and N6893613R0041 and N6893613R0042 for Tactical Training & Threat/Target (T4S) on February 20 and 21, 2013 to solicit interest from companies to assist the Navy with the acquisition strategy for the follow-on requirements to the CES MACs.
