Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes for an active requirement and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Command Norfolk, VA is seeking to establish mulitple Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPAs) with eligible SMALL BUSINESS concerns capable of providing extended stay type hotel lodging services to Military Sealift Command (MSC) Civil Service Mariners (CIVMARS) for periods typically between 30 and 90 days in the Hampton Roads VA area. BPAs will remain valid for a period of up to five (5) years from the date of issuance of the BPA. The BPA will make the vendor eligible to submit quotes in response to RFQs from the agency for the same lodging requirements in the Norfolk, VA area. All businesses are encouraged to respond DIRECTLY TO MSC. MSC anticipates execution of new BPAs for these lodging services to be issued starting in May 2013 but may be issued at anytime thereafter. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. To be considered for a BPA, the documents requested below will be used to validate your property meets the minimum requirements for the upcoming Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Civil Service Mariner (CIVMAR) lodging in the Hampton Roads VA area to provide "extended stay type" lodging facilities to include but not limited to: 1-2 Room suites, AAA 3-Diamond rated facility or higher, kitchenette complete with cooking utensils, microwave, refrigerator, stove top burners, and on site functional washers and dryers. Facility shall not be under construction or major renovation during the performance period. Facility must be within a 15 mile radius of the following shipyards: 1) BAE Systems Norfolk Shipyard, 750 W Berkley Avenue, Norfolk VA 23523 2) Colonna's Shipyard, 400 E Indian River Road, Norfolk VA 23523 3) Marine Hydraulics, Inc., 543 Indian River Road, Norfolk VA 23523 Documents / Information Requested. Interested vendors MUST provide the following to be considered for a BPA: 1. Provide a current copy of your AAA 3 Diamond hotel rating certification. 2. Provide a statement identifying the number of rooms your facility has that meet the requirements stated above. 3. Provide a statement that each room will be equipped with a microwave oven, refrigerator, stove top burners, and cooking utensils. 4. Provide fifteen (15) mile driving distance justification using www.mapquest.com website. 5. Provide a statement of how many functional coin-operated or complimentary washers and dryers will be provided on-site. 6. Provide a statement that the facility will not be under construction or major renovation during the performance period. 7. Provide verification that your establishment is listed on the current Hotel-Motel National Master List as required by PL101-39. http://www.usfa.dhs.gov/applications/hotel/ 8. Provide copy of current Pest Control contract which shows type of services provided, periodicity of services, and contract beginning and ending date. If unable to provide a copy of the contract, the information required must be provided by the Pest Control company on their letterhead. 9. Provide copy of most recent Pest Control Inspection report. 10. Provide copy of hotel's Business License. 11. Provide copy of Hotel Certificate of Occupancy. 12. Provide copy of Department of Health (DOH) Retail Food Establishment Permit. 13. Provide copy of latest DOH Retail Food Establishment Inspection Report.. 14. Provide copy of DOH Swimming Pool Permit. 15. Provide copy of latest DOH Swimming Pool Inspection Report. 16. Provide vendor's DUNS number and confirm registration is valid in SAM at www.sam.gov. 17. Confirm whether the vendor's representations and certifications are available at www.sam.gov. Military Sealift Command (MSC) representatives and CIVMAR union representatives will conduct a site inspection prior to issuance of a BPA.
